Skill Training Programmes

The Vocational Training & Rehabilitation unit at CRC Guwahati is committed to empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) through targeted skill development programs. The services offered under this unit include comprehensive assessment, vocational guidance, and various skill training and rehabilitation initiatives. These programs are designed to enhance the employability and independence of PwDs, enabling them to lead more fulfilling and self-reliant lives. Vocational Training for Individuals with any Disabilities above 18 years.

• Adult independent living:
• Generic skill training
• Specific skill training

Skill training programs: (under PMDAKSH certified by SCPwD)

• Data entry Operator
• Employability Skills 70 hours
• Beauty Care Assistant (Jan Shikshan Sansthan Courses)
• Tailoring for  Women  (in collaboration  USHA )

 

• Free Coaching Scheme (minimum 6 months)
• Job Preparation :Assam Public Service Commission

 

Job placement :

• Arrange to Rozger mela ,Job fair & Registration Divyangjan Rozger Setu portal)

NGO Partnership for Skill Training/ Self Employment/ Sheltered Workshop
Micro Finance & SHG Promotion (in collaboration NDFDC)
Self Employment/ Wage Employment Promotion (linkages with NDFDC etc.)
