    The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MS&JE), Government of India is actively promoting Indian Sign Language across the country. Under the direction of * Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS), Secretary of DEPwD, a decision has been made to conduct Indian Sign Language workshops nationwide. In alignment with this initiative, the Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLRTC), New Delhi in collaboration with CRCSRE Guwahati, successfully conducted the *Fifth Workshop on Upgrading the Knowledge and Skills of Indian Sign Language (ISL) for In-service Special Educators. The workshop, scheduled from 19th August to 23rd, August 2024, aims to educate special educators on enhancing their signing skills for effective communication with deaf children. The workshop features sessions led by *Shri Rakesh Kumar Gangwal, Assistant Professor; **Dr. Dipak Kumar Aich, Assistant Professor (Special Education); **Ms. Neha Rajpoot, ISL Instructor; **Mr. Shubham Pochat; **Mr. Sourav Bhattacharya; and **Ms. Bhawna Rawal*, Interpreter.
