Special Education Services

This department is presently imparting the following services including running the following long term and short term courses related to man power development for the rehabilitation/empowerment of children with disabilities (Divyangjan) or special needs (CWSN). It also provides special education support services for the children with special or high support needs within the age range of 18 years as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. It focuses on overall development of the CWSN. A “process-centric structural approach” means an organization’s structure is followed rather than traditional functional departments for the sake of the centre. It focuses on the end-to-end flow of processes, optimizing them for efficiency and satisfaction of the service receivers/beneficiaries, and measuring results at the process level. It also emphasizes collaboration across functions to achieve the set goals, rather than individual departmental achievements.
